NATIONAL SPORTS DAY 2023 | 29th AUGUST 2023

NATIONAL SPORTS DAY is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. To honour this day our school organised a sports event. Kho-Kho was played by the Little Champs of class 5 and a short inter house Cricket tournament was organised in three rounds. Students of class 6 to 11 actively participated in the match. The first round was held on 26th of August between Kalam house and Shastri house, Shastri house won the match. The second round was held between Bhabha house and Cariappa house, Bhabha house won the round. The final round was held on 29th August between the winners of the last two rounds Bhabha house came out with flying colours and Shastri house was the first runner up. We do not say that the other houses lost the match because we believe if one wins others learn.
