TITLE : 11TH NATIONAL LEVEL EXHIBITION AND PROJECT COMPETITION (NLEPC) INSPIRE – MANAK 2024
Organised by All India Council for Technical Education at Pragati Maidan New Delhi from 17th Sept. – 19th Sept. 2024, Participant : ANAS FAIZAN, Class – X , Achievement : 5th Position , Award : INSPIRE – MANAK Winner Award and Certificate, Our school beams be pride as class 10 student Anas Faizan showcases is innovative spirit by designing a ‘MINI MOBILE TOWER’ and made his position incredible by securing 5th Position at National level. His selection was not easy going. He had to beat a tough competition. 41000 students from all over Jharkhand registered for this competition, only 1600 participants were selected for District level. Anas is the only one who paved his way for State level from Hazaribag. 132 participants from all over Jharkhand got the opportunity to participate in State level which was held on 15th December 2023 at Amar Shahid Thakur Vishwanath Shahdev, Jila School, Ranchi. Only 14th participants were selected for National level from Jharkhand all together 350 participants were selected for National level from all over India in which 30 students became National Champion and Anas Faizan was one among them. This remarkable feat demonstrates Anas Faizan’s prowess and dedication to using technology for benefit for mankind as well as Nation. Our revered President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji , Honourable Principal Maam along with VCS family congratulates him on his outstanding achievement, fostering a culture of innovation and compassion.

PAINTING COMPETITION UNDER PPC-2024
‘Pariksha Pe Charcha-24’ an initiative by the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi for stress free examination. In this context a painting competition was organised on 23rd January, 2024, the Prakram Diwas-the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, by Kendriya Vidyalaya , Meru camp, Hazaribag under the auspices of Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. It was district level competition based on the theme ‘Exam warriors’. In this contest students of class IX to XII from different schools of Hazaribag participated. Our school also participated where in, Rajeev Choudhary of class IX from our school bagged the 1st position. He was awarded with E- certificate and a copy of ‘Exam warriors’ book authorised by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Additionally, other students received Certificates of Participation and a copy of book “EXAM WARRIORS” for their performance. The success stories include:- 1. Riti Mehta (class IX) 2. 31st NATIONAL CHILDREN’S SCIENCE CONGRESS-2023
A young scientific mind repleted with innovative scientific ideas, Shreya Suman from our school steals the spotlight at the 31st National Children’s Science Congress-2023,held in DAV Public School, Pundag, Ranchi on 13th January,2024.Her creative mind not only conquered the state-level but also assured her well deserved platform on the national level. Nearly 200 young minds from 14 districts of Jharkhand took part in this exhibition .The theme of this NCSC-2023 was “UNDERSTANDING ECOSYSTEM FOR HEALTH AND WELL BEING”. In Junior team ,Shreya Suman of class VIII championed herself with her project “ Health and Well being” . Our revered President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji and our Principal Madam filled with pride wished Shreya Suman as well as all the participants a bright future in the world of science.
INSPIRE AWARDS-MANAK 2022-23
INSPIRE AWARD MANAK-Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research(INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of the Department of Science and Technology Govt of India. The INSPIRE AWARDS-MANAK(Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge) aims to motivate students studying in classes 6 to 10 to pursue Science and a career in Research. Anas Faizan a student of class IX from our school brings immense pleasure and pride as his project ‘Mini Mobile Tower for Safety(Shashwat) has been selected for National Level participation. 123 students from different schools from different districts of Jharkhand participated in this competition, which was held at Zila School Ranchi on 15th Dec, 2023. 14th projects have been selected for national level, among them Anas Faizan’s is one. Our revered President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji and our Principal Madam from the bottom of heart extended their warm wishes and encouragement for this stellar feat.
66th National Shooting Championship 2023
66th National shooting championship was held at Dr. Karni Singh shooting range in Delhi on 29th November 2023. Nouratan Srishti Bala of class VIII from our school brings a glorious and pride moment for the school. She has qualified under the range of 10 m MQS Championship. Our honourable President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji and our Principal Ma’am expressed great pride in Nouratan Srishti Bala exceptional performance and wished for her bright future in the field of shooting.
CBSE CLUSTER III ATHLETICS-2023
Riya Rani, a student from class XII showcased her mettle in CBSE CLUSTER III ATHLETIC Meet held on 27 oct,2023,which was organised at Vikash Vidyalaya, Ranchi, securing 2nd position in Javelin Throw. 130 CBSE affiliated Schools across Bihar and Jharkhand participated in this competition. She bagged a silver medal. Our revered President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji and our Principal Madam congratulated Riya Rani and her coach Ravi Kumar. They expressed their heart warming wishes for her splendid performance as well as her true sportsman spirit.
INTER SCHOOL ‘SIT AND DRAW’ AND DEBATE COMPETITION-2023
An exciting Inter School drawing competition as well as a debate contest was conducted by the Life Insurance Corporation, Hazaribag Division on the occasion of Insurance Week-2023,(04.09.2023-05.09.2023) on the theme “Nature”. The event aimed to encourage students to express their artistic talents while fostering an appreciation for the beauty of nature. Enthusiastic students from different schools of Hazaribag district participated in this competition. Ankit Kumar a creative mind of class-III from our school was awarded with consolation prize in Drawing where as Farhan Saif of class X excelled with 3rd position in debate. He has been awarded with Certificate and a Shield. Our revered President Swami Tapanand Maharaj Ji and our Principal Madam motivated Ankit Kumar and Farhan Saif for their enthusiastic spirit to their individual field with her best wishes.
ATAL SANSKRITI MANCH- ON THE OCCASION OF CHICAGO DIWAS - 2023
Team VCS spreads aura of talent in various fields of competitions organised by ATAL SANSKRITI MANCH, on the occasion of Chikago Diwas at Town Hall, Hazaribag (10.09.2023 – 11.09.2023). Several schools from Hazaribag district participated in the contest. Three little champs from our school shone in ‘Fancy Dress Competition’. Manav Kumar of class V scored 2nd position while Kritika of class V secured 3rd position where as Shourya Prakash of class III received the consolation prize. In Speech Competition under Junior Category Shreya Suman of class VIII showcased her excellence by seeking the 1st position while Pranjal of class VIII excelled with 2nd Position and Shilpi Verma of class VIII bagged the 3rd position. In Speech competition (Senior category), Farhan Saif of class X was awarded consolation prize. Our revered President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji and our Principal Madam acknowledged the impressive performances of the outstanding achievers and congratulated them for their excellence in their own zone.
THIRD STATE KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIP 2023
An electrifying achievement brought by Anmol Giri a student of class II from our school. Third State Kickboxing championship was held at Khelgaon Ranchi on 6th August 2023, organised by Jharkhand Amateur Sports Kickboxing Association under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India combined with International Olympic Committee (IOC). Many players from all over the state participated in this event. Our super champ Anmol Giri steals the spotlight by scoring 1st position in the event of Point Fight under the category children 30 kg. Our revered President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji and our Principal Madam ecstatically congratulated Anmol Giri for his remarkable achievement and wished him to continue striving for excellences.
HAZARIBAG DISTRICT TRAINING CAMP AND JUNIOR’S KICKBOXING SELECTION TRIAL – 2023
The Hazaribag District Sports Kickboxing Association conducted “Hazaribag District Training Camp and Junior’s Kickboxing Selection Trial – 2023” at Akashdeep Marriage Hall, Hazaribag on 30th July 2023. More than 75 players took part from all over the district. The tiny champ, Anmol Giri of class - II from our school has been selected for the state level under the category of Children 30 kg. This prodigy brings a prestigious occasion for our school. Our highly respected President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji and Our Principal Ma’am congratulated Anmol Giri for his incredible accomplishment and wished a grand sure success in upcoming state level competition.
NCC CATC CAMP – 2023 VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION
A 10 days NCC camp was organized at Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag from 20-07-2023 to 29-07-2023. Total 500 cadets from different school and colleges of Hazaribag took part in this camp. A volleyball tournament was arranged during this camp. 16 enthusiastic teams battled for the top talent to the ultimate win. Our school team dominated the court and emerged out victorious. The volleyball court became the eyewitness of the spiking, blocking, service and setting skills of the game by the young champions. After a tough combat Hindu +2 High School reached the finals to altercate with our spunky team that attained its place in the finals due to their exceptional performance under the captainship of Pawan Kumar Mahto. Our most revered Swami Tapananda Maharaj JI and our Principal Madam congratulated the team for their sportsmanship, enthusiasm, spirit of competition and their passion for the game.
7TH EAST ZONE SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP (RIFLE / PISTOL) EVENTS
7th East Zone, 177 Peep Sight Air Rifle Shooting Championship contest was conducted at Asansol West Bangal, by West Bengal Rifle Association; under the auspices of the National Rifle Association from 26.08.2023 – 30.08.2023. Nouratan Srishti Bala of class VIII from our school added another feather to her cap by earning 8th rank under the category of 10 meter MQS. Now, she paved her way to National Level Shooting Championship. Our adorable President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji and our Principal Madam extended heartfelt congratulations to her offering best wishes for the upcoming National Level Competition.
SUBROTO CUP FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT (DISTRICT LEVEL) CHAMPIONSHIP - 2023
PHENOMENAL TRIUMPH OF GIRLS FOOTBALL TEAM! The girls football team under 17 of our school brings pride and glory for the school. The team participated in the District Level Subrato Cup Football Tournament Championship-2023 at Curzon Ground, Hazaribag Stadium on 26th July, 2023. Five competitive teams and days of thrilling and exhilarating actions witness to a battle of top talents to the ultimate win. After a high octane competition Team Katkamdag reached the final to square off with the spirited team of our school that earned its’ place in the final due to their superlative performance. Shooters / players from various schools of different districts in Jharkhand participated in this contest. An emerging shooter , Nouratan Srishti Bala of class VIII, from our school bagged the 2nd position in Sub Youth Women category scoring 386/400. 13TH JHARKHAND STATE RIFLE SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP 2023
A rising shooter Nouratan Srishti Bala, a student of class VIII from our school brings a resplendent moment for the school through her commandable performance in shooting. 13th Jharkhand State Rifle Shooting championship competition was organized at khlegaon , Ranchi (28.06.2023 – 01.07.2023) under the category 10 meter MQS (Minimum Qualifying Score). Several shooters from different districts of Jharkhand participated in this atomistic competition. Nouratan Srishti Bala of our school achieved a remarkable exploit by securing the 1st position in Sub Youth Women 10 meter MQS scoring 386/400. Her outstanding performance has qualified her to compete in the East Zone completion. An honour giving ceremony was organized at Town Hall Hazaribag to appreciate her feat. She was honoured by Manoj Ratan Chothe, the SP of Hazaribag. Our venerable President Swami Tapananda Maharaj Ji and our Principal Ma’am put forth their heartwhelming congratulations to Nouratan Srishti Bala for her perseverance and focused aim in shooting also blessed her for joining the East Zone Shooting Championship.

On the auspicious occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti, Painting & Speech competition was organized by Union Club on 22nd of January 2023 under the theme ‘Netaji – The Unforgettable Son Of Mother India’ in which one of our student Pranjal from Class – 7 secured the 1st Prize in speech competition.
